All Women Get Early Symptoms of Pregnancy?

Every woman and her experiences lf pregnancy are different. Not every woman will have the similar symptoms or even the same symptoms from one pregnancy to the other.

This is also because the early symptoms of pregnancy often imitate the symptoms which might be experienced right before and during menstruation, and may not realize of being pregnant.

A description of some of the most common early symptoms of pregnancy is to be followed. It should be known that these symptoms may be caused by other things than being pregnant. So noticing some of these symptoms does not necessarily mean being pregnant. The only way to tell and ensure is with a pregnancy test.

Spotting and Cramping

After conception, the egg which is fertilized attaches itself to wall of the uterus. This can be tbe cause of one of the earliest signs of pregnancy that is spotting and, sometimes, cramping.

This is known as implantation bleeding which occurs anywhere from six to 12 days after the egg is fertilized.

The cramps are similar to menstrual cramps, so some women mistake them and the bleeding for the beginning of their period. The bleeding and cramps experienced, are slight.

Besides bleeding, a white, milky discharge from the vagina may be noticed. That’s associated to the thickening of the vagina’s walls, which starts almost immediately after conception. The discharge is caused by the increased growth of cells lining the vagina.

This discharge can continue throughout pregnancy but is generally harmless and doesn’t need treatment. But if there is a bad smell is connected with the discharge or a burning and itching sensation, doctor should be contacted  so they can check on whether having yeast or bacterial infection.

Breast Changes

Another very early sign of pregnancy is breast changes. The hormone levels of the woman are rapidly change after conception. Breasts may become swollen, sore, or tingly a week or two later due to the changes. Or they may feel heavier or fuller or tenderness may be felt to the touch. The place around the nipples, known as the areola, may also darken.

Breast changes can be caused by other things. But if the changes are an early symptom of pregnancy, it should be kept in mind that it is going to take many weeks to get used to the new levels of hormones. But when getting used to it, breast pain should ease up.

Fatigue

Starting in the early stages is feeling very tired which is normal in pregnancy

A woman feeling unusually fatigued can be started as soon as one week after conceiving.

This is often associated to a high level of a hormone knowns as progesterone, although other things such as lower levels of blood sugar, lower blood pressure, and a boost in blood production can also contribute.

Plenty of rest should be done if fatigue is related to pregnancy. Consuming foods that are rich in protein and iron can help offset the fatigue.

Morning Sickness

A famous symptom of pregnancy is morning sickness. But it is not in every pregnant woman

The precise cause of morning sickness is not known but pregnancy hormones are likely to add to this symptom. At any time of the day nausea may occur but most commonly in the morning during pregnancy

Also, certain foods are craved or could not stand them in some women when they become pregnant. That’s also connected to hormonal changes. The outcome can be so strong that even the thinking of what used to be a favorite food can turn a pregnant woman’s stomach.

The possibility of the nausea, cravings, and food aversions may last for the entire pregnancy. Fortunately, at about the 13th or 14th week of their pregnancy the symptoms tend to decrease for many women.

In the meantime, a healthy diet should be eaten so that you and your developing baby are getting essential nutrients. Doctor can be consulted for advice on that.

Missed Period

A missed period is most obvious early symptom of pregnancy and the one that prompts most women to get a pregnancy test. But pregnancy is not caused by all missed or delayed periods.

Also, some bleeding during pregnancy can be experienced by some women. If pregnant, doctor should be consulted about the awareness with bleeding. For example, when is bleeding normal and when is showing a sign of an emergency

There may be other reasons, besides pregnancy, for missing a period which might be gaining or losing too much weight. Other possibilities may also occur such as hormonal problems, fatigue, or stress. Some women have missed their period when they stop the intake birth control pills. But if a period is late and pregnancy is a possible, a pregnancy test may be wanted

Other Early Symptoms of Pregnancy

Changes in hormonal balance is brought by pregnancy which can cause other symptoms that include:

  • For many women, frequent urination starts around the sixth or eighth week after conception. Although this could be a cause of a urinary tract infection, diabetes, or using diuretics, if pregnant, it’s most likely due to hormonal levels.
  • During pregnancy, constipation can be due to higher levels of the hormone progesterone. Progesterone causes food to pass more gradually through the intestines. Drink plenty of water, exercise, and eat plenty of high-fiber foods to ease this problem.
  • Mood swings are common, especially during the first trimester. These are also connected to changes in hormones.
  • Frequent mild headaches, and experiencing back pain are reported by many pregnant women
  • Dizziness and fainting may be associated to dilating blood vessels, lower blood pressure, and lower blood sugar.

All of these symptoms could be found in a pregnant women or maybe only one or two. If any of these symptoms become worrisome, doctor should be consulted  about them so a plan is made to offset them.
